Cast net fishing is a skill. Wading through the fallows, the fisherman must carefully approach small schools of fish and, once close enough, the net is cast with an elegant swing of the arm. The net must land precisely across the pool, between rocky boulders of dead coral. This thai fisherman is working the low tide along a beach in Phuket, Thailand, but the same technique can be found over much of South-East Asia.
