| Lyme Bay is noted for the richness of life on its cobble reefs. Starfish (Asterias rubens), hydroids, bryozoans and soft corals (Alcyonium digitatum) on a cobble reef, Lyme Bay, southwest England. | A ross coral colony (Pentapora fascialis) flourishes within a damaged area of seabed as Lyme Bay no-take zone starts to recover from mobile fishing gear, in particular scallop dredging, damage. |

Colin Munro Photography, marine, underwater and commercial photography, advertising, surf photography, yacht photography, ship photography, design photography, portrait photography, fine art photography, band and music photography, artist and promotional photography, event photography, stock photography. Photographer based in Exeter, Devon, Southwest UK, working Worldwide. Colin has been an underwater photographer for over 20 years and a professional diver and dive supervisor for over 30. Although specialising in underwater photography Colin also undertakes a considerable amount of topside marine photography, including advertsing photography of yachts, fishing vessels, watersports and watersports equipment. Working with high end digital cameras in underwater housings allows him to work in fairly hostile environments (to cameras at least) such as surf zones and at the water-air interface producing low POV shots and half above half below the waterline shots for added dramatic effects. Colin is equally at home working in tank or pool environments, producing dramatic images for advertising or commercial use - be it models or products in an underwater environment. With over a thousand dives logged in all environments Colin is happy organising shoots in pretty much most underwater environments, from deep reefs to under waterfalls. Always up for a challenge, if you have a novel concept for an underwater shoot and want to discuss the practicalities, then come and talk to me.
